Solitude

The concept explored in this work is the illustration of feelings of loneliness and their resolution through self-awareness and the study of solitude. This is depicted in a series of self-portraits created in the shadow of multiple camera obscura projections, reflecting both literally and figuratively on the interplay between an individual’s inner and outer worlds. Solitude, often mistaken for loneliness, represents a state in which a person functions better without human interaction.
